Hariram Hiranandani
I believe that painting is an independent entity by itself. Nothing repeats
itself to its existence in whole. Painting should not and is not obliged to
be subservient to narration, to event or incident. It does not tell story.
The contents, the medium, its treatment, scale, search and internal logic,
dictates the evolution of composition which stands out as "self-sufficient
existence". Form, colour, structure and direction should give a
rhythemic whole. Inner geometry of nature be recognised and respected.
Creations are not tied to any preferential technique. Work should reach
beyond originality in the quest of wider relevance. I truly believe, I
succeeds, if a fragment of world however small is changed by novelty of my
visionary wisdom. My own work after completion astonishes me about the
secret mystical identity of a person who has done it. Complete submergence
dictates the evolution of my work.
