VAASTU TIPS

Vaastu Shastra is the ancient Indian science of architecture and acts as a guideline to design our home or office in a way that enhances the positive energy. The first textual evidence for Vaastu Shastra is found in Rigveda, where the protector of the house (Vastospati) is invoked. “Vaastu” is derived from the root word “Vas” which means to dwell. Vaastu also refers to the substance like bricks, stones, wood, iron etc. and “Shastra” is the theory. Vaastu aims at maximizing positive energy around the human and minimizing the negative energy.
There is an energy cycle in Vaastu which relates to the five elements:
For best results, any activity in our residence or office should be supplemented by the cosmic positions of these five elements.
• The North-East is related to WATER.
There should be a water body in that direction.
• The South-East is related to FIRE.
There should be kitchen, pantry, furnace, boiler in that direction.
• The North-West is related to AIR.
A guest room or a store for finished goods can be there.
• The South-West is related to EARTH.
Most stable of all elements, keep it heavy and is the best place for master
bed room.
• The Center is related to SPACE.
Have the least possible activity in this area.
According to Vaastu for Office
• The entrepreneur should sit facing the North - East direction as it is auspicious and these directions encourages growth and new beginnings.
• People in leadership roles, should have a cabin in the west direction and face the North-East direction.
• The entrance of the office should be in the North -East or North-West direction.
• Vaastu says that the reception table should be place diagonally to the front door of the office
• A four-leaf clover plant can be kept at the entrance or at the reception area.
According to Vaastu for Home
• Place the kids study table in the east direction for improvement in studies.
• Avoid a bedroom in the North-East or South-East zone of the house.
• The best Vaastu-favored corner to set up any kitchen is south-west corner or the North-West corner. Kitchen is the food factory of our home and it needs to be in perfect balance because the two-opposite forces of nature-fire and water, exist here.
• North East is the most auspicious direction for puja room.
Placing pyramids is an effective way to curb Vaastu defects in your cabin.
By following the above given measures, we can smoothen our lives. Destiny always prevails. But by using remedial measures as provided by vaastu, one can reduce the difficulties in one’s life.
